1. Applicant must be a Texas-licensed attorney who currently practices criminal defense or has a strong desire to practice criminal defense in the very near future;
2. Applicant must be at least one-half Asian or one-half South Asian;
3. Applicant must submit one-paragraph statement about why you should be awarded this scholarship.
4.  Please submit the above-listed items, along with the scholarship request form (here) and recent photo, to the address below.

The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Education Institute (TCDLEI) exists to promote and support the administration of justice in Texas, particularly through the continuing legal education of criminal defense lawyers and staff.
