Through interdisciplinary perspectives—including medicine, forensic science, disability rights, prosecution, defense, and the judiciary—participants will explore the limits of expert evidence, risks of cognitive bias, disclosure obligations, ethical client counseling, and the judicial role in safeguarding fairness in emotionally charged cases. The program emphasizes professional responsibility, competence, and ethical decision-making for attorneys practicing in high-stakes child abuse litigation.
