Jeep Darnell received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Jeep is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico and licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Western District of Texas, the District of New Mexico and the Eastern District of Wisconsin as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Jeep works with his dad, Jim at Jim Darnell, P.C., in El Paso, Texas, where they handle criminal and civil defense, criminal and civil appeals, and represent clients in administrative proceedings. Jeep has been selected as Texas Super Lawyers – Rising Star in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, a Texas Super Lawyers in 2024, and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. He is a member of the TCDLA Executive Committee, Editor of The Voice, Board of Directors, former Chair of the CDLP Committee, former Chair of the TCDLA Listserv Committee, and former Co-Chair of the TCDLA Technology Committee and the TCDLA Membership Committee. Jeep has been married to his wife, Meghan, since 2011, and they have two sons, James and Kennedy.
