About Member
The Law Offices of Patrick F. McCann have been a part of the Texas legal scene since 1995. Mr. McCann is a former Navy officer with service overseas in Europe, the Balkans, the Caribbean, and in the Pacific. He has been in solo practice in the Houston area since 1995. He has been President of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, and legislative liaison for both organizations. He has served on the Governor’s Specialty Courts Advisory Council, on the Boards of the Anthony Graves Foundation, as the Chair of the Fort Bend County Defenders Advisory Board, on the Boards of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Educational Institute [where he still serves] and as Chair of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association’s Capital Defense Assistance Committee. He is the author of the TCDLA Punishment Manual, and has taught at local law schools and in state-wide seminars on criminal procedure and the death penalty. His practice has been devoted to complex criminal trials, appellate, and post-conviction matters since he first established his firm over a quarter century ago. Through carefully built relationships and reputation, he is able to assemble diverse teams of experts and investigators to fight for you and your case, whether it is a white collar matter, an accusation of a violent crime, or a high-level federal conspiracy.
