About Member
Susan is a 1986 graduate of Baylor Law School and is licensed to practice in Texas and Colorado. A former state appellate court briefing attorney and state prosecutor, she is now in private practice at the Law Offices of Susan N. Kelly in Waco. Susan is currently on the TCDLA Board of Directors and the Legislative Committee. She is also a former member of the TCDLA Executive committee. She is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Criminal Law and is a former member of the Law Practice Management Committee for the State Bar of Texas. She is a past president of the McLennan County Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and is currently President for the Waco McLennan County Bar Association. She handles state and federal cases and has tried over 100 jury trials ranging from traffic tickets to murder cases.
