Notable cases include his representation of the former Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives and acquittals of the former CEO of Mrs. Bairds Bakery, accused of criminal anti-trust violations; a Waco Branch-Davidian accused of conspiracy to murder federal agents; a former City Councilman, charged with over 100 counts of telecommunications fraud; a sitting District Judge, for civil rights violations; and several attorneys, developers and businessmen accused of bank fraud during the Savings and Loan prosecutions. Grand Jury investigations resulting in no prosecution include his representation of the Executive Director of the DFW Airport in an environmental matter, and two of the Arthur Andersen accountants.
