I am a former practicing criminal lawyer. I am now mostly retired. I have been in practice since 1967 with a few breaks. I spent 11 years working at the International Criminal Tribunal in the Hague. I am a past president of NACDL and former dean of the National College for Criminal Defence. I served a short period as a Criminal Court Judge in Houston. I have lectured and taught in CLE programs around the world. I was honored and humbled by being inducted into the TCDLA Hall of Fame.
