The most recent, 5th generation of O'Fiel family lawyers, Patrick E. O'Fiel, was licensed to practice law in May 2002. After graduating from Lamar University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science, he attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where he received his law degree. He practiced law in Beaumont, Texas with his father until relocating to the Kerrville, Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Rita in 2005. Soon after arriving in Kerrville, he went into private practice where his practice remains today. The O'Fiel family has been practicing law in the State of Texas since Spindletop in 1901.
