Danny Easterling
In 1980, Danny Easterling was licensed by the State Bar of Texas. He is Board Certified in Criminal Law and Certified for Appointment to Capital Murder Cases: Trial, Appeal and Writs. He is a former President of Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association and was named their Lawyer of the Year in 2003. He has served many years and currently serves on the TCDLA Board of Directors. He is an instructor each spring at the Texas Criminal Trial Lawyers College and lectures on a wide variety of criminal trial issues throughout Texas.  In addition, he has served on the Texas State Bar Grievance Committee.

Danny has been named a "Super Lawyer" in the field of Criminal Defense by Texas Monthly for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. 

 

Earl Musick
Earl is the current president of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association and has served on the board of directors for the past six years.
 
Earl is a native Houstonian, who spent over twenty-eight years working investigative divisions within the Houston Police Department.  In 1999, Earl was licensed by the State Bar and started prosecuting cases for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.  Earl started his criminal defense practice in 2003, and has been a continuous member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and the various criminal defense organizations in and around Harris County. 

Throughout his careers, Earl has seen and worked criminal cases from every aspect: investigation, prosecution, and defense. Earl has a tremendous amount of experience regarding criminal law and has defended clients in twenty four different counties in Texas.

Earl is certified by the State in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and has successfully represented hundreds of defendants charged with driving while intoxicated.  In 2008, the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association named Earl as their Attorney of the Year. 

Grant Scheiner
Grant Scheiner is from Houston. He is a former board member and executive board member of TCDLA. Grant is also a member of the Criminal Defense Lawyers Project and serves on several TCDLA committees. He is a frequent course director, writer and lecturer.

Grant is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a trained practitioner and instructor of standardized field sobriety testing. H-Texas Magazine consistently ranks Grant as one of "Houston's Top Lawyers." The American Trial Lawyers Association named him one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" in the State of Texas.
